Smoking When I'm Definitely Not Supposed To
My room smells like an old friends house,
her mother used to sit by the window
as we ate horrible pancakes
and she'd go through a pack.
I heard she's still following her daughter
from country to country
the divorce took a toll on her, ey?
Camel cigarettes and a shitty lighter.
Used to carry it around in my bag in Math class --
did you see that teacher? Yeah,
nobody liked him.
I still remember his voice though,
how strange. I remember -
Holding onto it like a crutch, do you, no,
of course you don't. You
wouldn't remember me in a year.
They're all dead anyway,
They aren't coming back and nobody
talks about them.
I won't talk to them even if they talk to me.
But ;
Do you think we are going to be / like this / forever?
Ha, you get nose bleeds all the time.
I hope it kills me this time - hope
we end up five miles south
deep far underground. One addiction was enough and
I DON'T NEED LECTURING ANYMORE.
